The Hebrew School Students of the Zelda and Herman Schwartz Hebrew School at Temple Sholom participated in Zikaron V'Tikvah.
Zikaron V'Tikvah is a project initiated by the San Diego Jewish Academy in 2006 "to memorialize the 1.5 million children who died in the Holocaust, to honor the survivors and to display in numerous locations, handmade butterflies from around the world as a symbol of renewed life. Zikaron V'Tikvah means Remembrance and Hope in Hebrew."
